Marie Barsacq appointed Chief Executive Officer of Paris Entertainment Company

Following a proposal by the City of Paris, in agreement with AEG, and after approval by its Board of Directors, Paris Entertainment Company announces the appointment of Marie Barsacq as Chief Executive Officer.

Paris Entertainment Company, a mixed-economy company majority-owned by the City of Paris, operates and develops three iconic venues on the Parisian and international scene: Accor Arena, adidas arena and the Bataclan.

Marie Barsacq has a widely recognised career at the crossroads of sport, public institutions and major structuring projects. She began her career at the French National Olympic and Sports Committee (CNOSF), before becoming Deputy Chief Executive Officer of the French Football Federation (FFF). She then served as Director of Impact and Legacy for Paris 2024, playing a key role in structuring the long-term benefits of the Games.

In December 2024, she was appointed Minister for Sports, Youth and Community Life in François Bayrou’s government.

Through this appointment, Paris Entertainment Company is pursuing a strategy of continuity and development, in support of the cultural, sporting and event-driven influence of the French capital.
