As is the case every year since 2002, the American magazines “Venues Now” and “Pollstar”, leaders in BtoB publications in the entertainment and performance venue sector, have published their ranking of global arenas with capacities between 15,000 and 30,000 seats.
They have awarded the second place to the Accor Arena, which, just behind New York's Madison Square Garden, hosted 71 events and sold 974,000 tickets during the survey period from 17 November 2022 to 16 August 2023.
Since 2018 and the arrival of Nicolas Dupeux as its general manager, the Accor Arena, “where all happens”, has begun its transformation into a true experience venue. The performance hall, a creator of memories and emotions, has introduced new activities that enable it to become a true destination for networking, meetings, and leisure, while still focusing on offering a fine-tuned programme to its audience and an exclusive hospitality experience to its VIPs.
A benchmark in Entertainment, the Accor Arena model now supports the replication strategy of the Paris Entertainment Company, the group to which it belongs along with the Bataclan and adidas arena since February 2023.
This is the first time the Parisian performance hall has reached the second place in this prestigious ranking and announced such figures.
